Children's Activities

We’re pleased to announce that our very popular Celtic Kids Tent will be available throughout the 2010 Potomac Celtic Festival. The Festival is a wonderful mix of sights and sounds, but parents know that spending an entire summer day outside; experiencing all that the Festival has to offer, can overwhelm and tire our wee folk.

While in the process of finalizing our list of activities, plans are underway to maintain some of the popular activities from years past, as well as add a few new ones too

The Children’s Tent allows young children (and their parents and grandparents) a chance to re-hydrate, sit down, and slow down with quiet activities provided by the Potomac Celtic Festival staff. If you have an idea for a craft activity in the Children's Activities area, or would liketo make a donation of your time and/or craft supplies, please email: celtickids@potomaccelticfest.org

We’re looking forward to an amazing Festival and to a lot of fun in the Celtic Kids Tent, a place to sit, take a break, and connect with your kids on a warm summer day. Please remember that the Festival does not provide babysitting or daycare.
